Sorotzkin Family

The direct Sorotzkin line and its two documented family links to the Gordon and Bloch branches.

Six generations named in family testimony

The direct line given by Chaim Dov Sorotzkin runs from Rav Yechezkel through Rav Bentzion Sorotzkin, Hagaon Rav Zalman Sorotzkin of Lutzk, Harav Eliezer Sorotzkin, Rabbi Dr. Bentzion Sorotzkin, and Chaim Dov.

Rav Zalman Sorotzkin was remembered as Rav Eliezer Gordon’s youngest son-in-law. His son Rav Eliezer Sorotzkin married Hadassa Chasya Bloch. Their younger son Rav Boruch Sorotzkin married Rochel Bloch, daughter of the last Telshe Rav, Harav Avrohom Yitzchok Bloch.
